Some few days ago, we were all celebrating Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary and only a few, most of them government officials, had positive things to say about the Nigeria project. The country, in her 60th, is bedeviled with so many challenges, chief of them being insecurity, extreme poverty, and high illiteracy rate amongst others. How can a country with these challenges prosper? I will not brood over the country’s problem, but instead write on our dear book industry as a metaphor of the Nigerian problem.
